For Labour Day we loaded our friends Ryan, Janice and their son Hayden, the 2 dogs and ourselves into our boat for a day on the water. This was Kai's first boat trip, she was nervous at first, we had to almost drag her down the dock and wrestle her on to the boat but as soon as we got into open water she became a happy "Sea Dog"! We headed across to Lund, then up to Teakerne Arm to see the water fall and then up by Sonora Island to Whole in The Wall to play in the rapids and totally freaked the dogs out. The day was long but entertaining, Indy protected us from a hoard of barking seals, Kai decided she didn't needed help getting out of the boat and almost went overboard, and we found every restaurant in that area closes to early for a late lunch...we finally found really good burgers in Lund at about 4.30pm just before we decided to call it a day and head for home. It was a really Good Day!
